Amazon really came through last month with some food items that weren't available at my local grocery store.  Plus a fun gift for my nephews!

Here's what I purchased in January:

The Laundress - Stain Solution.  I got a grease spot on one of my very favorite sweatshirts, and remembered Sarah sharing this stain solution awhile back.  I had some other blouses that I had stains I was trying to get out, so figured now was the time to make a purchase.  I spot treated the stains and had luck with about half of my tops.  I still need to try again/try soaking, but I was pleased with the ones that did come out!
Red Lentils.  I really wanted to try a lentil soup recipe, but my local store didn't have red lentils.  Amazon came through, though!  And the soup turned out great, so it's lucky I have extra on hand to make again.

Little Blue Truck's Valentine.  A fun little Valentine's Day present for my nephews.  I mentioned this in my Friday Favorites, but both my brother and sister in law sent a picture/video of my younger nephew with the book which was the cutest thing.

Chia Seeds.  I like to add chia seeds to my smoothies.  My grocery store didn't have them, so again, I turned to Amazon.  The price per ounce was really good, and with the size, I won't be running out anytime soon!

And that rounds out my purchases for January.

  1. We LOVE chia seeds! I get the ones from Trader Joe's and I put them in everything - waffles, pancakes, cakes, cupcakes, smoothies, cookies, salads, etc. It's a great way to get something healthy in the kids since they're so picky. And I'll have to try that stain remover. The kids have a couple of things that seem to be stained permanently so I'm always willing to try something new to help!

    1. That's so smart to put them in all those things - I will have to try adding to my salads! If you try it, I hope it works for you!
