Hey there, happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Before I get into today's post, I wanted to mention Friday's post.  I shared some of the items I have and love that are in this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  Well, I didn't realize until late afternoon that my post was experiencing some technical difficulties.  I fixed it all up and it's looking normal, at least as I type this on Sunday afternoon.  I just wanted to mention it in case you happened to stop by on Friday and only saw a line or two of text at the beginning of the post, followed by some random pictures of items.  That was not what I had intended the post to be, so sorry about that!  Hopefully it continues to stay right and I don't have any other tech mishaps!

Anyways, back to today's post.  My July Amazon purchases, plus one item I purchased last month that I am deeming a fail.

Crest Whitestrips.  I had been wanting to get some whitestrips for awhile, and as I was placing a big Target order, I had added them to the list.  I thought to check Amazon before hitting purchase on Target.com, and was able to save a few dollars by purchasing through Amazon instead

Blue Light Blocking Glasses.  I had a pair of blue light glasses that I had gotten from the eye doctor.  I really liked them, and felt they did help with eye strain / headaches.  I wore them on and off, but not always consistently.  This past month I noticed things getting really bad again, but when I went to put on my glasses, they were all smudged and I could not get them clean for the life of me.  So, of course, I turned to Amazon, and decided on this 2 pack of glasses for $17.00 (currently $19.98, but there is a coupon for $3.00).  They are a great price, come in a variety of frame options, and are super lightweight.

And now for my Amazon fail.  I purchased this visor last month, and was super excited about it.  I took it with my to Michigan to wear at the beach, and was not a fan at all.  I felt like I had to wear it really low to make it feel secure on my head, but by doing so, I made it hard to see with the wide brim.  I know people have this and love it, but for me, it was not a good purchase.

  4. I've seen so many people wearing hats similar to this one, and they look like they would be so uncomfortable! It just seems like it would sit lopsided on your head since it's so asymmetrical.
