Hey all!  Happy Friday!  We made it to another weekend.

Here are some of my recent favorites...

1.  Smallwoods Sign.  When my parents were in town, my mom and I were discussing decorations for my loft area.  The nook area looks a bit different since I shared it in my home tour (I have since gotten a new chair and a new desk!), but what isn't different is the fact that the space serves dual purposes.  It's both my office, and home to my Peloton bike.  I had an idea of what I would like to do in the 'office' section, but I wanted to add something to the wall next to my bike.  It needed to be office-ish, since that is my background for Zoom calls, but I also wanted it to make sense for the area as a whole.  Plus, I didn't want to do pictures, because I plan on eventually doing some type of gallery wall up here, too.

Insert Smallwoods.  I bought a Smallwoods sign for my bedroom, and absolutely love it.

After I was so happy with mine, my mom got one, too, when she redid my old bedroom at home.  She was actually able to customize one, and thought that would be a good option for up here.  Well, it seems like they have changed things since we both purchased from there (more picture options, less customizing options), but I did find quite a few options that I thought would work for the space.  I ultimately ended up with the one below, and cannot wait for it to get in so I can hang it!  Which, will be a breeze, because not only are the items great quality, but they are super duper light, too!

Life Is Tough

I think it's a great reminder for when things get tough, whether it be with work, on when I am trying to make it through a workout.  Or just when life is tough in general.

Smallwoods is having a sale right now, and you can get an extra 15% off if you sign up for emails/text messages.  My sign was already a great deal on sale, and then the 15% off basically gave me free shipping!

2.  North Star by Sherwin Williams.  The magic of paint!  My bathroom looks SO much better after we painted it this past weekend.  I absolutely love the color.  I keep saying this, but it's very 'spa' like, which is hilarious, because I have never even been to a spa.  But this color is what I would imagine.  Light and fresh and calming.

3.  Fixer to Fabulous.  I am a sucker for a good home renovation show.  Over the weekend, HGTV was airing reruns of Fixer to Fabulous, and I got hooked.  They redo some really neat houses, in a variety of design styles.  Plus, I really enjoyed the back and forth of the couple.  It looks like there is going to be a season 2, coming this fall, so I better set my DVR!

4.  Essie Stitch by Stitch.  This Essie color is my go to transition color.  I think it for winter to spring and summer to fall.  It's the prettiest pink that is a bit muted, so it works when you want something a little more subtle.  Since I am already craving fall, I broke it out this week.  While I usually have toe polish on, I don't think my finger nails have been done since the beginning of quarantine.  And goodness, does it feel good!

    1. Yes! It's a softer pink that I think lends itself to spring and early fall...when you aren't quite ready for the darks of fall but you don't want the bright pinks either!
