Here's what I bought from Amazon this past month.

Weekly Planner PadCaitlin from Southern Curls & Pearls has shared this pad a few times.  While I still have (and use) The Simplified Planner, I was looking for something to use more for work.  I made a traditional to do list for work, but I thought it might be helpful to be able to split those to dos up in days, and look at the week as a whole.  I also really liked the habit tracker portion.  Like with doing monthly goals and habits posts, it's a great way to help keep those things I want to work on at the front of my mind.  Plus, I love checking things off!

Find Your Path by Carrie Underwood.  I originally was on the wait list for this book at the library, but instead figured I would just buy it.  I tend to reread these types of books, so it makes more sense to have a hard copy of my own.  The book gives you a background of Carrie's life in regards to fitness and health, provides workouts, and then, I think, the part I haven't gotten to yet, is the section with recipes.  I mentioned this in another post, but the biggest takeaway I have from this book (so far) is her discipline with working out.  Even on the days the motivation isn't there, you still do it, because there will be days when you can't due to scheduling, sickness, whatever it may be.  So it's important to do it while you can, even if you might not want to at the moment.  She writes about it in a more eloquent way, but that's the gist.

White Eyelet Top.  I first saw this top when Lindsay from Lindsay's Sweet World shared it.  If you saw my summer wardrobe favorites post last week (post here), you know I am in need of some cute, but casual summer tops.  This one fit the bill!  It's really cute and super fun with the eyelet detail.  Plus it's only $17, which I thought was a good price.

Straw Visor.  After seeing various version of this visor online, I decided to grab one for myself.  My hair is almost always pulled up on the top of my head these days, and I liked the idea of having similar coverage to a brimmed hat, while still being able to have my hair up.  The fact that you can roll it up is an added benefit.  There are a bunch online, but I chose this one because of the price ($16), the color, and the bow detail at the back.  The only thing I will note is that while it is a Prime item, it does take a bit longer to arrive.  I ordered mine at the end of June, and it's set to get here today.  Since I didn't need it right away, that didn't bother me so much.  It does seem like the delivery time has gotten better since I ordered, but still something to keep in mind if you want this in 'normal' Prime time.

Linking up with Lindsay.

  1. My sister listened to that Carrie Underwood book on Audible and she said the exact same thing in regards to her motivation and discipline! She really liked it, too.
