Friday Favorites: Tea, Egg White Bites, Three Sheep Shack & Squeeze Herbs

Keeping it short and sweet this Friday!

Starbucks Honey Citrus Mint Tea and Egg White Bites.  I mentioned awhile ago that coffee and I were no longer friends.  I started getting decaf when I wanted a treat, but even that was making me feel bad.  After realizing they had the Medicine Ball on menu now, I gave that a try.  And since it was in the morning at the time, and I had already run through my hard boiled eggs for the week, I got their egg white bites.  Holy cow.  Both were so darn good, and have now become my regular order from Starbucks.

I do customize the drink, and get it without any honey.  As is, I thought it might be a little too sweet, so when I first ordered it, I only got one pack of honey.  I felt that was still a little too sweet for my liking, so now I get it with no honey.  So good!

The egg white bites are so fluffy.  I don't know how they do it.  I like to cut mine up, and top them with a little Cholula sauce.  They are delicious, and pretty healthy, too!

Three Sheep Shack.  I have mentioned this Etsy shop, Three Sheep Shack, before.  It's run my a fellow Missouri blogger, Jess, and her mom.  Awhile ago, I got a navy coffee sleeve, and it's been so handy during the times I have gotten the above mentioned tea.  I swear they make it warmer than their coffees, and the cardboard sleeve just doesn't work for me.  This one, though, is awesome.  I always thought their stuff was so neat, but recently Jess shared their 'why' on her blog, and it made me love the shop even more.  The memory they honor with the shop, and they good they do with it, is just really inspiring.  Definitely worth a read!

Gourmet Garden Squeeze Herbs.  I absolutely love to cook, but I tend to cook more with dried herbs than fresh.  It's just easier for me to keep them on hand, rather than go out and get fresh ones all the time, because they undoubtedly go bad before I can use them all.  But sometimes I just want that fresh herb taste.  I came across these pastes at the grocery store recently, and they are so handy!  You get the same flavor as the fresh herbs, but don't have to worry about them going bad, since they last a bit longer!  They have quite a few options, too, so your main herbs should be covered.

  2. Dang, I just realized that I should have tried that tea at Starbucks today!! I was out of my cinnamon tea and I stopped to grab some at Walmart and they were out too, so I just went to Starbucks instead. It didn't even occur to me that I could order tea there, too. DUH.
