Since discovering I liked pumpkin spice lattes, I have been on the hunt for an easy, at home option.

There are oodles of recipes online, but most of them are a bit more involved than what I was looking for.  I wanted something super quick and easy.  Time in the mornings before work is precious and I want to spend it actually drinking my coffee, rather than preparing it.

During my search, I came across this recipe on The Babbling Blondes blog.  While I don't use the recipe, I had a major takeaway from it - Jordan's Skinny syrups.  In the post, they recommend using the Pumpkin Caramel syrup.  I quickly ordered it off Amazon and as it is with Amazon, it was at my doorstep in no time at all.

Side note - I actually saw this brand at Tuesday Morning, too.  I can't remember the price, so I am not sure which is a better deal, but it's just another option if you shop there.

I was a little nervous to give it a try - this was my first time using a syrup with my coffee - but it was really good!  I paired it with my favorite coffee, creamer, and voila, an at home pumpkin spice latte in minutes.

Here's what you need.

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte 1 Cup of Coffee (I use the Green Mountain Dark Roast K-Cups)
1 Tablespoon Jordan's Skinny Pumpkin Caramel Syrup
1 Tablespoon Natural Bliss Caramel Almond Milk Creamer

Brew your cup of coffee.  Add in 1 Tablespoon of syrup, and 1 Tablespoon of creamer.  Stir to mix.  Enjoy!

Easy peasy!  Now, depending on how much coffee you make, you may need to alter the measurements, but I would keep the ratio the same - equal parts creamer, equal parts syrup.

If you give it a try, let me know how you like it!

  1. I saw the Skinny Syrups at Home Goods the other day but wasnt sure how they tasted. I normally drink my coffee at home black but I am going to have to give this a try.

  2. Oh my gosh, using syrup is just brilliant!! I'm adding this to my Amazon wish list right now! I love that the syrup doesn't have any sugar, too. That's exactly what I've been wanting!
