The Most Wonderful Time of the Year: Wish List

Today is the first day of The Most Wonderful Time of the Year link up with Sarah and Victoria.  I am excited to be their guest host for the day, sharing my wish list!

1.  Fossil Hybrid Smartwatch Q Accomplice.  While I like the idea of a smartwatch, I often don't like the look.  However, this one looks like a regular watch and has the neat capabilities of a smartwatch.  The one thing I am most excited about is the built in fitness tracker.

2.  Louis Vuitton Wallet.  This is definitely a wish list item, with a heavy emphasis on the wish part!  For my 30th birthday this year, I purchased a LV Neverfull (with the help of gifts from others!).  I would love a wallet to add to my collection.

3.  The Bible.  Right now, I have two Bibles - one from when I was confirmed way back in 8th grade, and the other is the One-Year Bible I picked up last year.  While the ones I have are both great, I would love a nice Bible that includes explanations of the scripture.  If anyone has recommendations of one like this, please let me know!

4.  Kendra Scott Bar Necklace.  I like how this necklace has a little bit of a sparkle, but is still simple.

5.  Gratitude Journal.  I love the idea of having something to write things I am grateful for in daily.  I realize I could do this in a plain notebook, but I think having something special to write in would help me to stick with it.

6.  Cookbooks.  You all knew cookbooks had to be on my list!  As I have mentioned so many times before, I LOVE cookbooks.  My collection just keeps growing and growing.  Right now, I have my eyes set on The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Come and Get It!, Simmers, and The Skinnytaste Cookbook.  Any others you would suggest?

7.  Leopard Heels.  I have been wanting a pair for years now!  I just think they would add such a fun pop to any outfit.

8.  Clay Face Mask.  Chelsea from The Girl Who Loved to Write shared this in one of her recent posts.  I love a good face mask, and she raved about this one.  Anything that helps to clean out my pores is a win!

9.  Sigma Foundation Brush.  Currently I use little sponge wedges to apply my foundation.  I have heard brushes are so much better though, and that this is one of the best!

10.  White Essie Polish.  It's been a long while since I have worn white (or white-ish) polish, but I have been seeing it in different places and absolutely love the look.

Quite a random mix, but all things I am wishing for!

Big thanks to the girls for letting me host with them!  It's always fun come up with wish list items, especially around the holidays!

  2. I have the ESV study bible and if you like that translation, then you would like this bible. It's thick but it explains everything so well! You really do need a foundation brush! I will NEVER go back to using a sponge!!! I have a Morphe brush but I've heard great things about Sigma!

  5. I just started getting back into my gratitude journal and it helps with my mindset so much! I brought mine to work so I can write down a short list of things each morning before I start my workday.

  8. I love my ESV study bible for when I want to go deeper in the scriptures, I use the She Reads Truth as my typical bible. I love the Skinytaste cookbook and I would recommend 100 days of real food cookbooks as well. Simple whole food recipes. Jess at Just Jess

  9. What a fun link up! I feel like I've shied away from cookbooks because Pinterest is so convenient for me, but I love the ones I do have and think I need to get back to the basics. I would also love a bible like that. We left ours in church one week and it was the bible our pastor gave us when we were married. Sadly it never turned up in the lost and found and I can only pray it's being used and helping someone else. Sierra~Beautifully Candid

  11. OMG those leopard heels are amazing - I might need to add them to my list, too. I love watching the Pioneer Woman on tv, and I've tried a couple of her recipes. I bet her cookbook is so good!

  12. That foundation brush is my favorite-- I've had mine since before my wedding and was just thinking about how I should get a new one, or a backup! The Skinnytaste cookbook is the best, definitely one of my favorites, but the Pioneer Woman one looks really good too! My main bible is a student bible that I got in high school I think, and it has definitely seen better days but I really like the format of it. Have you checked out the She Reads Truth bibles? I think they have some teachings included.

  15. Love the gratitude journal! I was just thinking about buying one myself. I've read and heard that people who write down what they're thankful for are more happy and healthy. I, also, love those leopard heels! I have a pair of leopard flats but wedges or heels have been on my wishlist too!

  16. You will love those heels! I have them and they really do make a statement. I'm on the hunt for the perfect lifeplanner...I love the bullet journal format but don't have the time to create it every week. I need one with some calendar/gratitude/goal planning all built into one.
