Dialated Eyes

Yesterday after work I had my annual eye doctor appointment.  I have terrible eyesight, but actually enjoy going to the eye doctor because my doctor is the nicest.  She is just one of those people that is always so upbeat and can instantly put you in a good mood.  She did me in today, though, because I unfortunately had to get my eyes dialated.  I haven't had this done too often, thankfully, because I am not a fan at all.  I mean, I am not sure who actually is, but you know what I mean.  And it always cracks me up, because you cannot see close up, yet the end of the appointment is the time when you order contacts and pay, all the while not being able to really review what you are ordering / paying for!  I know getting your eye dialated doesn't last too very long, but it's long enough and I get a terrible headache from it and am pretty much down for the count the rest of the day / night.  So no real post for today.  Just my quick little recap of my eye appointment yesterday.  To end on a positive note, my eye sight did not get any worse!  Always a good thing for me!

  3. I hate that they expect you to pick out new frames when you can't see! I always tell them I'll come back haha!! I have been avoiding the eye doctor because I know how much worse my eyes have gotten and I dread having to pay for new glasses....ugh.

  7. I had that done once I think and I wasn't a fan. Too funny that they do that and then you need to look at things close up. Hope your headache went away & that you are feeling better today!

  10. Ugh, that is the worst! I haven't had to have it done in years either. I'm glad that everything went well and your eyesight hasn't changed, though. That's always a plus! It seems that every time I go mine gets slightly worse in both eyes.

  14. Next time ask if they have the new didgital imaging machine! It's an extra fee, but omg for me it's work every penny of the $30!! Dilation does me in for the whole day, too (it doesn't help that I faint when they're doing it because I'm freaked out). The computer imaging is 👌🏻
