Friday Favorites: More Bedroom Updates, Naples & A Favorite Show

Happy Friday!  This week has been a little 'off' for me since I was traveling, and it seems like the end of the week got here in no time.  Which isn't a bad thing!

1.  I know I keep talking about my bedroom redo, but it is coming together piece by piece and it's so very exciting to me.  So far I have my bedding, including a quilt and euro shams (although I still need some sheets - just looking for a light gray or blue if anyone has a brand that they love and recommend!), my bed, my big old mirror, and just this week I ordered my new mattress!  Macy's is having a super great sale on mattresses if anyone else is in the market.  The sale does end this weekend, but if you are looking, there are still a few days left.

My parents were going to come down this weekend to paint, but my mom is sick and we pushed it off to next weekend.  But I have the color all picked out so I thought I would share!  I decided on the color Cosmos.  I wanted to do a blue - something a little darker, but not so dark that it would make the room feel like a dungeon.  I have my fingers crossed that this will be the right amount of 'cozy' I am going for in my mind.

I need to purchase nightstands and a long dresser still, but that will be happening very shortly.  After that my big purchases will be done!  Then it will be time to work on all the little things that actually make a space feel homey and warm.  I cannot wait!

2.  Earlier this week I was in Naples for work (post here).  While there was a lot of work done, I did get to soak in the warmth and blue skies.  As I said on my instagram post yesterday, it was such a nice reprieve from the weather we have been having in St. Louis.  Spring (and summer), I am ready for you!

3.  Last year a new show came out call For The People.  I absolutely loved it, and it just came back on this week!

I am keeping it short and sweet this week - only three favorites.  This coming week is my birthday.  I don't have any major plans to celebrate, but it's still exciting - another year older.

Hope you all have a great weekend.  I am going to enjoy my last one as 31.  And don't forget to spring forward!
