November 2016 Goals

Image result for hello november

And just like that, it was November!  This year is just flying by!  The new month brings a new set of goals.  Let's take a look back at October.

October Goals:

1.  Clean on Fridays.  I have been really good about this and I cannot stress how nice it is to not have to clean on Saturday or Sunday.  It might be even better to try to accomplish cleaning on Thursday, so Friday nights are clear, but for right now, this works for me.

2.  Clean out my freezer.  Check!  The freezer is cleaned out and reorganized.  I am no longer worried that things will fall out any time I go to get something from the freezer.  I also have a better idea of what is all in the freezer, which has been really nice, too.

3.  Knock items off my fall bucket list.  I was able to knock of few things off the list, such as taking a walk with the leaves crunch underneath my feet, going for a drive and making all things pumpkin!

4.  Start my Christmas list/shopping.  I have made some good progress on this.  I have ideas for quite a few people, and already some of those items bought!  Still more work to do, but I am happy with what I have accomplished thus far!

Moving on to November...

1.  Finish Christmas shopping.  Between Black Friday and other great sales this month, I want to knock out all my Christmas shopping!

2.  Switch to paperless billing.  I am way behind the times, but I still get a lot of paper bills.  There is no point, they just go into a pile and I never look at them again!

3.  Find a new work out DVD.  I want to have a nice back up plan for those days where I don't want to go to the gym.  Maybe like Zumba or something along those lines?  I have also heard good things about the 21 day fix work out.  Any suggestions?

4.  Start using my NutriBullet.  Two years ago, I received a NutriBullet for Christmas.  For a few months after, I used it all the time, making green smoothies for breakfast.  Then I stopped...and have probably only used it a handful of times since then.  I really want to start using it again, even if just one or two days a week.  If anyone has any really good smoothie recipes, please let me know!  I am always up for trying new ones.

  1. Great goals! I have started my Christmas shopping too. Or at least made a list in my head haha. I love the 21df! My sister is a Beachbody coach and has done most all of the bb workouts including 21df. If you want to talk to her ab the program or other ones I'd be happy to get y'all in touch!

  2. Wow - finish Christmas shopping?! I haven't even started! Ahhhh I love a good sale though, so you know I'll be on the search!

For working out, I don't use a DVD, I use the Nike+ Training Club App, and I love it! It's great for the days you need a quick, consolidated workout :)

  3. I'm weird and don't like to start my Christmas shopping early. I actually thrive on Black Friday haha! And I need to get back to making smoothies! I did really good before D went into the hospital. I like to make the Hilliard Studio Method one (google it) and I just don't use the greens. I bought the protein powder off of Amazon--so good!

  4. These are good goals! I wish we had a nutribullet, we just use a regular blender for smoothies and I know they would be easier with that! Yay for Christmas shopping, I'm about half way done and plan to finish this month too

  5. I'm currently looking for a great workout video too! I have tried zumba before and it was great!

  6. If you want to talk about 21 Day Fix, hit me up! I love, love, love it. It also comes with a meal plan, which is super helpful. I really like Cize, too, also by Beachbody which is a hip hop dance program. I'm a terrible dancer but its a fun way to get in my cardio from my own home.

I also like to start my Christmas shopping early. I like to have it all finished before Black Friday. I haven't started yet this year though so we shall see how that goes! The Lovely Latte

  7. I'm not a Jillian Michael's fan but her yoga workouts are really good and most of them are available for free on YouTube. I also really like the Leslie Sansone "Power Walking" workouts...it sort of sounds ridiculous (and looks ridiculous) but you really do get a decent work out from them!

  8. Love a good green smoothie! My favourites these days involve lime and coconut water with fruit and yogurt. And yay for trying to get all the christmas shopping done.

  9. I seriously want to have alllll of our Christmas shopping finished by Black Friday so that I can enjoy the whole month of December doing other fun Christmas activities!!!! I'm not sure if this will happen this year though lol. Please share what workout DVD you find, I am needing a good one, too!!!! NutriBullets are THE best! There are so many yummy recipes on Pinterest, too!

  10. good job on your october goals! i really need to get started on my christmas shopping (i have a feeling i will be leaving it till the last minute.. sigh). we still get paper bills as well, i only send a check for one bill, the rest are all paid online so it really is stupid and wasteful. i need to fix that! thanks for reminding me lol. i haven't tried the 21 day fix workouts but i know a few people who love them. i don't know if you follow gina @ on the daily express but she's done lots of posts about her workouts and she does them all from home so she has lots of dvds! i am not really a at home work out-er so i don't have any suggestions. i am really boring with smoothies - milk, spinach, banana, strawberries and blueberries. every. single. time. haha!

  11. I really need to plan out Christmas gifts because it's gonna be here before we know it and I have nothing planned as of now! Smoothies are the best, we got a brand new fancy blender as a bridal shower gift and I need to get more use out of it!

  12. When I can't make it to my Pure Barre class, I LOVE the Tracy Anderson Method dvd. I highly recommend it!

  13. That's great progress for October! Wow, I definitely need to/want to get a jump on Xmas plans and presents...! I also want to meal plan and cleaning schedule my heart out to make myself feel more sane over the next few months! I really love Kristy Yamaguchi's workout for Acacia. It's challenging but fun. I also like Dolphina's belly dance workouts. It sounds crazy but is super fun. It works all kinds of subtle muscles. Wanting to try zumba as well. I got ballet beautiful and a bollywood one recently... but have only done each one time. Need to get on that! XO - Alexandra

  14. I love Jillian Michaels butt and leg DVD. I got it on Amazon a while back for pretty cheap and it's definitely gotten a lot of use. I haven't done it since I was pregnant with Olivia, but I want to start getting back into it. I've been incorporating some of the moves into my current workouts, but I need to start doing the entire thing from start to finish again. I love it!

  15. I really should try to do the whole cleaning one day during the week. It sounds like it would make the weekends more enjoyable but also help when we have people come over too. I have a few of the Jillian Michaels DVD workouts and they're pretty good. I really like her 30-Day shred video because it has three different workouts and then modifications within each workout for easy and more advanced. It's also only 30 minutes, which basically means no excuses!

  16. Have you done Cize?? If you like dancing, you will love it. It's SO fun! I'm going to get back into it now that I'm heading into my second trimester but I've missed it so much!

  17. Great goals! I'm also hoping to finish up my Christmas shopping this month. I'd love to start having smoothies for breakfast, but they seem like so much work. You'll have to share your routine because it's intimidating. Good luck working through your list :)

  18. I try to get cleaning chores done during the week, i.e. I swept the floors on Tuesday, so I don't have to think about them on weekends.

  19. I really like the idea of paperless bills...I think all of ours are paperless for the most part except maybe my bank statements which I'm not sure why I still get in the mail!! Thanks for the reminder!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  21. My favorite workout dvd's are Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred and George St. Pierre's Rush Fit. Both will keep you challenged, but feeling great afterwards and won't take up more than 30-40 minutes of your day. Love how you've incorporated cleaning on Fridays to free up your weekends, I really need to adapt that idea as well! Happy Friday gurlie <3
