Weekend Recap

Hey all!  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Mine was definitely a good one.

I started off Friday with cheese and crostinis...always a good thing in my opinion!  Usually I don't make it to the gym on Friday - that is always an "off" day, but I decided to go and was glad I did!

Saturday was a productive day.  Cleaning and working out, then a super fun dinner out and The Sound of Music.  It was the perfect evening, even if it started with a tiny bit of a hiccup.  More on that tomorrow!

Sunday I had to do a bit of work, so it was a mixture of running errands, working and relaxing.  I didn't get quite as much as I had hoped done home-wise, but I did get started on one of my May goals - recipe clean out!  I got rid of so many.  I like to pull pages out of magazines when I see a good recipe.  Note to self though...don't pull pages out of magazines anymore - I hardly ever actually make the recipe!  I still have to transfer a few recipes to cards, but I made some really good progress.

Hope everyone has a great Monday.  Think it's going to be another busy one, but hopefully today will end some of the craziness!

  5. I used to do the same thing with gym workouts in SHAPE magazine, and the the same thing...I never did them! Haha.. Now i just bring the entire magazine to the gym and try the workout, and if I like it I'll save it...otherwise I trash it!

Sounds like a lovely weekend. Hope the craziness is settling down!

  7. I pull recipes out of magazines too and then rarely if ever make them. I just need to stop doing it, or figure out a better method. Cheese and crostinis always sounds like a good idea!

  18. I'm so bad about magazine recipes as well... I have a whole file to try and none of them have ever been touched. We can probably all thank Pinterest for that! Oh well. Glad you had a good weekend! So exciting that you got to see The Sound of Music!
