What's Hap-pinning 12.16.15

We made it to the middle of the week!  Thank goodness!  Before I get to my Christmas pins, I just wanted to share this.  Yesterday, I finally registered my new car and transferred my license plates.  I have been putting this off for awhile, like I literally only had a few more days to get it done before the fines would start to apply.  I always get nervous about going there - will I have all the information I need, will the DMV associates be nice if I don't, things like that.  And of course, how long will I have to wait?!  However, yesterday I was in and out in probably 20 minutes.  The place I went to allows you to set up an appointment online, which is fabulous and cuts the wait time to almost nothing, and the lady I worked with was SO nice, too!  I was just so excited that it went well so I had to share!  If your local DMV allows you to set up appointments or get 'in line' virtually, I highly recommend taking advantage.  Definitely a game changer for me!  Ok, back to Christmas!

I love pinning for Christmas.  There is just SO MUCH out there and you can really get some great ideas for decorating, gifts, and food.  Below, I have rounded up some of my favorites!

  5. A quick trip to the DMV is unheard of- so GO YOU! I haven't had to go in awhile, thank goodness- but next time I'll definitely see if I can check-in head of time. I love your pins- that cute tray with the cards/ornaments in it is SO unique!!

  6. I love these gorgeous pins! My favorite time of the year! And I'm like you--I hate going to the DMV! Apparently I was supposed to change the name on my car title when I got married?? It took forever to get it done and all those ladies knew me by name haha! I'm so glad you got it finished though!

  11. We got our plates straight from the dealership when we bought our car, and they said they paid our fees...so I don't know if I have to do anything for our new car or not and it's giving me anxiety not knowing! Haha. But I have to go to complete the title transfer on my other car from my parents to me...and I don't want to wait forever! I'll have to look into the appointments and online check-in at my DMV!

  16. Awesome find the the DMV! Last time I needed to get a new license I drove pretty far away to a smaller one where I knew the wait would be shorter! Happy Friday!

    1. I have done that myself! Well, I waited until I knew I would be going to my hometown to go to the DMV - I knew the lines would be a lot shorter so I specifically waited until that weekend.
